Futian District is seeking more partners to join its shared exhibition hall initiative, aiming to provide residents with a wider selection of free exhibition venues.
Launched in February this year by the district's public culture and sports development center, this initiative seeks to address the challenge residents face in locating suitable exhibition spaces.

Spanning an initial area of 2,190 square meters across seven exhibition spaces within various cultural venues in Futian, the program has facilitated 15 exhibitions since its inception. These exhibitions have featured diverse art forms such as calligraphy, photography, and intangible cultural heritage treasures, benefiting nearly 150,000 residents.
The cultural venues currently participating in the initiative include the Futian Art Museum, and themed halls within the Futian Cultural and Sports Center dedicated to drama, music, or intangible cultural heritage.
Starting next year, an additional 300 square meters of new venues, including more spaces in the Futian Cultural and Sports Center, will expand the shared exhibition area to a total of 2,483 square meters.

Lyu Hongrong, head of the Jupiter Museum of Art, thinks the initiative is providing a mutually beneficial solution for both artists and exhibition venues. "We have always sought spaces for exhibitions, but due to limited space and tight schedules at our museum, it was not feasible sometimes," she said. "Now this initiative offers additional options for showcasing art."
Currently, the Jupiter Museum of Art is hosting an installation exhibition titled "Blue Horizon" at the Futian Art Museum through this initiative.
Cultural venues interested in participating are encouraged to join, while citizens in need of exhibition spaces can apply by submitting necessary documents, including application forms, applicant introductions, exhibition plans, and representations of exhibit items, to qzwhb@szft.gov.cn.
