

MO Bar wins national award

MO Bar, the rooftop bar on the 79th floor of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, has been named the leading hotel bar in China at the 2024 National DRiNK Awards. The accolade was recently announced at an awards ceremony in Shanghai.

To celebrate its recognition at the National DRiNK Awards and its upcoming three-year anniversary, MO Bar will introduce a new cocktail menu in 2025. The menu will be inspired by the theme “Colors of China,” with cocktails reflecting the changing seasons and China’s rich natural resources, providing a unique and exceptional experience.
The team at MO Bar is led by Tiger Chang, whose distinctive mixology style was honed at hotels in his native Taipei, where he served as the chief bartender at Mandarin Oriental, Taipei. He has since worked at some of the most sought-after nightlife venues in major Chinese cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, and is renowned for his creative cocktails during guest shifts in London, Singapore, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, and Yokohama. His cosmopolitan background makes him a perfect fit for MO Bar, a destination for innovative drinks and one of China’s leading bars.
