Four New Year temple fairs to be held in Guangming

The 2025 Guangming New Year temple fairs will take place  simultaneously at four venues, namely Hongxing Culture Square, Hongyuan  Square, Dayanshan Forest Park, and Hongqiao Park, on Jan. 1, 2025.

Delicacies are the soul of temple fairs, and visitors can indulge in  over 20 snacks at Hongxing Culture Square, including milk tea, egg  waffles, spicy mutton feet, osmanthus jelly, grilled kebabs, and  Guangming roasted pigeons. Multiple fantastic folk performances will  also be featured, including lion dances, parades, magic shows, and  puppet shows.

Visitors will also be immersed in folk culture at the folk markets set up at Hongyuan Square.

Dayanshan Forest Park and Hongqiao Park will host hiking events. The  trails at Dayanshan extend for 2.8 kilometers and take about one hour to  hike, while the hike through Hongqiao Park, which extends for 4  kilometers, will take about one and a half hours. Visitors will receive  gifts for their participation.
