Shenzhen recently welcomed its first MGallery hotel, one of the most popular hotel brands managed by the Accor Group, in Longhua District.

Situated in the heart of Dalang, a neighborhood known as the home base of numerous fashion brands and designers, the stylish hotel stands as the district’s first international premium hotel venture.

The Fashion Town Hotel Shenzhen MGallery Collection will draw more visitors, both domestic and international, thus fostering further opportunities for the local fashion and cultural industry. The hotel, which opened Dec. 28, will infuse vibrancy into the fashion town, already known for hosting events like the Shenzhen Fashion Week.

Zhao Yanyan, the district’s deputy head, mentioned that the hotel’s official inauguration coincided with the launch of the “Dalang Cup” women’s wear design contest, marking a significant milestone in Longhua’s aspiration to establish itself as a global fashion hub.

During the opening ceremony, Fang Dongming, chairman of Shenzhen Longhua Construction Development Co., Ltd., the property’s owner, expressed confidence that the hotel would attract guests with a penchant for fashion and luxury, helping to place Dalang on the global map of fashion towns.

“We will take extra care to the details and try to provide tailored services to each guest, ensuring they have a comfortable and memorable stay with us,” he added.

A guest surnamed Li, who had a stay at the hotel recently, said the hotel’s adjacency to Shenzhen North Railway Station offers guests swift transit to and from Hong Kong and Guangzhou (within 30 minutes), as well as Dongguan and Huizhou (in under an hour).

Moreover, hotel guests will find it convenient to visit nearby shopping complexes, art galleries such as the EACHWAY Museum and the Shenzhen Art Museum, picturesque hiking trails in the Yangtai Mountain Park, and the Mission Hills Golf Club.

The MGallery Collection operates over 120 luxury boutique hotels globally, each promising an authentic, distinctive, and memorable stay. The Shenzhen hotel’s unique design, refined aesthetics, and seamless integration of local cultural elements have set a new standard in the industry.

Staff member Marie Wang was proud of the superb dining options available at the hotel. “We have a Cantonese Restaurant with 110 seats specializing in Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine, and the OEUVRE Restaurant offering global and local culinary delights,” she said.

The hotel boasts 262 rooms and 1,654 square meters of meeting spaces, including a grand ballroom fit for diverse events.
