Flavor, fragrance, and artistry come together as Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen kicks off 2025 with a multisensorial afternoon tea in collaboration with the luxury Chinese fragrance brand, DOCUMENTS. Running until Feb. 28, the Aromatic Indulgence Afternoon Tea at Yi Lounge offers a unique blend of taste and aroma, bringing the evocative scents and soothing essence of the avant-garde perfumer to life.
Since its inception in 2021, DOCUMENTS has quickly garnered acclaim for its innovative vision and distinctive fragrances. The brand's "BOLD-ZEN" creativity is exemplified by its Tree parfum series featuring four distinct fragrances – Inter Cedar, Pomelo One, Pepper Bud, and Birch Bark – all designed to harness the healing properties of trees and evoke positive emotions. Drawing inspiration from the holistic essence of these blends, the latest menu crafted by Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen's executive chef William Ong and his team is rooted in nostalgic memories and the natural wonders of the world.
Completing the experience is a selection of handcrafted pastries. Indulge in the light Lemon Tea Cake and zesty Mandarin Orange Vanilla Cake, or savor the bursts of natural freshness found in the Red Fruit Cheesecake and Seasonal Fruit Glass. For a luxurious treat, the Sichuan Pepper Chocolate Cake blends subtle spice with rich cocoa flavors in a decadent fusion.
On the savory side, enjoy the warming Spicy Roasted Duck Bagel filled with rich flavors, or the aromatic Wood Smoked Iberico Char Siu Puff Pastry with Pineapple combining smoky accents with a tropical twist. The Sous Vide Chicken Roulade with Berries and Nuts offers a delicate balance of sweet, tart, and earthy notes, while the Jasmine Salmon Cucumber Roll adds a touch of sophistication to the experience.
