

Bao'an's foreign trade exceeds 550B yuan

In the first 11 months of 2024, the import and export volume of Bao'an District exceeded 550 billion yuan (US$75 billion) for the first time, marking a 25% increase year-on-year, according to data provided by Shenzhen Customs.
The district contributed over 13% to the city's total imports and exports during the same period.
In 2024, Bao'an District had four large enterprises with import and export volumes exceeding 10 billion yuan and 70 enterprises with volumes surpassing 1 billion yuan, according to Bao'an Daily.
Insta360, based in the district, has consistently ranked first in the global panoramic camera market for five consecutive years, with a market share exceeding 50%. It also maintains a top-two position in the global action camera market.
Also, the marketing network of another Bao’an-based firm Unilumin covers over 160 countries, and it has partnered with more than 5,400 dealers. Its LED screens have been used for many international events such as the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and the UEFA European Football Championship.
The district has also implemented a series of measures to support the development of large foreign trade companies.
According to statistics from Shenzhen Customs, in the first 11 months of 2024, Shenzhen's foreign trade reached a record high of 4.11 trillion yuan, a 17.4% leap year-on-year. This milestone marks the first time the city has surpassed the 4 trillion yuan threshold, underscoring its thriving trade dynamics.
