When I first arrived, Shenzhen was transitioning from labor-intensive manufacturing to an innovation-driven economy.

Today, it hosts emerging high-tech clusters such as next-generation communications, semiconductor lighting, biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing, and new materials.

The quality and sophistication of Guangdong-made electronics have risen to internationally competitive levels. This dynamic environment means my team and I at TÜV SÜD are busier than ever.

Starting from technical work, I have moved into management as the head of the China EMC & RF division, which involves frequent travel to our branches across the country.
