Peace Ark returns

The Peace Ark, which was commissioned into the Navy in 2008, stands as China’s first standard ocean-going hospital ship. The crew comprises some of China’s top medical experts and professionals specializing in neurology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, and reconstructive surgery. They provide free medical services to those in need globally. Over the past decade, the mission has offered medical assistance to approximately 280,000 individuals.
