Filming base established in Guangming District

Shenzhen Film and Television Industry Association's (SFTIA) filming base was unveiled at Huaqiang Technology Park in Guangming District on Jan. 21.

During the opening ceremony, Li Yawei, a distinguished screenwriter, director, and president of SFTIA, unveiled the strategic blueprint for the filming base. He also discussed the implementation of low-budget film projects.

Li shared his vision for future filming initiatives within the charming locale of Guangming District, aiming to not only capture its essence through cinematic lenses but also invigorate the local cultural and tourism sectors.

The filming base spans approximately 1,000 square meters. This development intends to attract an array of film and television-related enterprises to set up operations in Guangming. The inauguration of Li Yawei Film Works Poster Exhibition on the same occasion showcased the acclaimed director's artistic contributions.

A news conference on "Mom's Penalty Kick" was held on the same day. The film is slated to be shot in Guangming District, with plans for subsequent screenings in cinemas.

Guangming District has witnessed a rapid evolution in its cultural industry, thanks to the fusion of technology and film resources. The introduction of this filming base promises to further enhance the district's cultural industry development, facilitating the consolidation and synergy of local film resources while catalyzing a wave of fresh creative endeavors.
