The Splendid China • China Folk Culture Villages has launched a series of events inviting tourists to celebrate the Spring Festival while experiencing the rich traditions of Chinese culture in the theme park from the first to the 15th day of the Lunar New Year (Jan. 29 to Feb. 12).
The park will present its four signature grand performances daily — Dragon and Phoenix Dance, Splendid Market in A Dream of Splendor, Legend of the Desert, and Traditional Chinese Ethnic Clothing — offering visitors a cultural feast.

As a special initiative for the Spring Festival, Splendid China has partnered with the popular domestic game “Black Myth: Wukong” to create an immersive New Year’s garden party. A 13-meter-high Wukong-themed light installation has been set up on the water, and an e-sports carnival interactive experience area will showcase a variety of gaming experiences from the first to the seventh day of the Lunar New Year. Additionally, tourists who visit Splendid China’s nine miniatures, such as the Mogao Grottoes featured in “Black Myth: Wukong,” will have the opportunity to collect stamps and win gifts. Special “Black Myth: Wukong” merchandise will also be available for purchase in the park.
The park has additionally installed about 1,000 sets of lamps and lanterns to create a romantic ambiance that captures the essence of the Chinese New Year. This includes a 300-meter-long giant dragon lamp and lampposts shaped like the 12 Chinese zodiac animals.
