As a top tourist destination, Shenzhen is welcoming visitors from across China and the globe for a cultural and tourism feast in 2025. From new shopping hubs to cultural landmarks, here are seven major projects set to launch.
K11 ECOAST Coastal Cultural and Arts District
K11 ECOAST will be Shenzhen’s newest cultural and retail destination, covering 230,000 square meters. With its design resembling a giant ship docked in the harbor, the complex includes the K11 ECOAST shopping mall, the K11 Cultural Center, K11 ATELIER office spaces, and a scenic seaside promenade. This flagship project, created in partnership with international architects like David Chipperfield and Sou Fujimoto, blends culture and commerce, offering a space for art lovers and shoppers alike.

Shenzhen JD Mall
Shenzhen JD Mall will open during the 2025 JD 618 event in the bustling Haiya Mega Plaza in Nanshan. With over 200 global brands and 200,000 products, this mall focuses on “trendy tech shopping.” It offers everything from home appliances and electronics to e-sports, children’s products, and entertainment. With over 30 themed experience zones, JD Mall promises a seamless shopping experience.
Shenzhen JD Mall will be situated within Haiya Mega Mall in Nanshan District.

Sam’s Club (Bao’an)

It is set to be a hub for students and families looking to explore the wonders of modern science.

Shenzhen Bay Cultural Plaza

Shenzhen Qianhai Huafa Ice and Snow World
