Blossoming of spring at Xiangmi Park

As spring arrives, the cannonball flowers in Xiaomi Park compete to bloom, attracting citizens eager to take pictures. The blooming period of cannonball flowers spans from December to the following March, with their peak bloom occurring from late January to the end of February.

The clusters of orange-red flowers hang down in rows, resembling firecrackers, which is how they got their name. After years of cultivation, these cannonball flowers have crafted a unique landscape of floral seas in Xiaomi Park, with strings of orange-red blossoms cascading like waterfalls, beautifully complementing the surrounding green trees and buildings, creating a scene as enchanting as a fairy tale.
