Budget smartphone maker Honor Terminal has launched the Honor Alpha Plan, focusing on developing an artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem.

Details related to the Alpha Plan initiative will be unveiled at the 2025 Mobile World Congress, scheduled to be held in Barcelona, Spain from March 3 through March 6, the company announced.

The Alpha Plan is a key turning point in Honor's AI strategy and will be led by chief executive officer Li Jian, who took the post Jan. 17.
