Developed by Bao’an-based Shenzhen Somytrip Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd., tripAI has captured significant attention for its potential to revolutionize the travel industry, as reported by Bao’an Daily.
Currently, the travel customization market primarily relies on manual labor or personal experiences shared by travelers, which often leads to high costs, inefficiency, and uncertainty. tripAI addresses these challenges head-on by offering a robust, AI-driven solution.
TripAI leverages precise user profiling and integrates billions of data points, including information on 2 million hotels worldwide, 500,000 tourist attractions, 8 million flight routes, and over 20 million restaurants.
Powered by Baidu’s advanced ERNIE-Speed and ERNIE-4.0 models, tripAI has successfully implemented an AI-driven global travel itinerary customization project.
This innovative travel platform offers a wide range of services, such as generating personalized travel guides, enabling users to share travel content, providing virtual travel experiences, and facilitating AI-powered social networking.
Notably, registered users of the tripAI mini-program and app have surpassed 2 million, with an annual transaction volume exceeding 10 million yuan (US$1.37 million), demonstrating its vast market potential and strong commercial value.
Behind tripAI is a multidisciplinary team of experts, who are mostly graduates of prestigious universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, the Harbin Institute of Technology, and Xiamen University.
With extensive management experience at leading companies like Microsoft, Baidu, and Tencent, the team include AI specialists, data analysts, seasoned travel industry professionals, and software development engineers.
