Embracing Guangming's promise

Having lived in Shenzhen’s Guangming District for more than a year, I feel a deep sense of pride and confidence in the transformational path this area is taking.

As the Business Strategy Manager at the Times High Tech Industrial Park in Guangming Science City, I’m privileged to play a part in shaping this future.

One of the most exciting aspects I’ve witnessed is the district's growing appeal to high-end institutions.

For example, we recently welcomed the Shenzhen branch of a U.K.-based academy into our park, which has brought in top talent and cutting-edge ideas. Our incubator at the Shenzhen Bay Laboratory is mainly designed for startups, and through collaborations like these, we aim to attract even more innovators with promising scientific results.

Additionally, we are preparing to host a forum that will bring together academics, researchers, and scientists to discuss the exciting advancements in Guangming Science City, especially in the thriving biotech industry.

The support from the Chinese government in promoting innovation here is truly impressive. I genuinely believe that, with the ongoing funding and capital inflows, Guangming Science City will become one of the top research hubs nationally, if not globally, equipped with advanced technologies, top-tier equipment, and excellent researchers.
