Qu Cha Shan, a tea brand that originated in Guiyang, has been nicknamed the “Starbucks” and “local specialty” of Guizhou residents. In recent years, leveraging Guizhou’s ideal ecological environment and high-quality raw materials, Qu Cha Shan has integrated various characteristics of the region into its products, establishing itself as a brand that non-locals can rely on to experience the essence of Guizhou.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to hand-make the Guiyang Qingyan Rose Matcha Milk Tea, a new product jointly developed by the culture and tourism authority of Guiyang and Qu Cha Shan this spring. Its main ingredients include Guiyang Qingyan Rose Jam and Guizhou Matcha.

“Qingyan Ancient Town is a 5A-level scenic spot in Guiyang and holds significant historical military importance from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Qingyan rose candy has a century-old tradition in the town, while Guizhou Matcha is primarily produced in Tongren City and competes with Japanese matcha in the international market,” a representative from the culture and tourism authority of Guiyang stated

This spring, Guiyang has planned multiple themed tourism events that combine flower viewing with music, folk culture, trendy souvenirs, and films and television. In addition to launching a flower viewing tour map and a flower viewing calendar, Guiyang will also host a series of events focused on flower viewing, including roadside concerts, a photography contest, city walks, and a cherry blossom marathon.

“The flowering period lasts from February to May. We sincerely welcome Shenzhen residents to Guiyang to enjoy the flowers and experience the city’s full beauty during these 100 days of spring,” the representative added.
