Shenzhen’s biggest temple fair of the year burst to life yesterday at the centuries-old Northern Deity Temple in Xixiang, Bao’an District, marking the start of a nine-day celebration richer in color and crowds than the Lunar New Year.

Featuring a four-kilometer parade with over 100 troupes from across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the event showcases immersive festival celebrations.

Venue: Northern Deity Temple, 24 Zhenli Street, Xixiang, Bao’an District 

Metro: Pingzhou Metro Station (坪洲站), Line 1 and walk for around 18 minutes to get to Northern Deity Temple
