Journey to Shenzhen and career choices

Before Shenzhen, I worked in Zhuhai teaching kids dance. I had also spent a brief time in Hangzhou, eastern China’s Zhejiang Province, but when I realized Zhuhai was a smaller city, I wanted to seek bigger opportunities.

A friend in Shenzhen called me and said, "Kevin, why don’t you come here? Many young people want to become superstars, and you have real skills to show." That invitation pushed me to make the move.

When I arrived in Shenzhen, I really fell in love with the city. Compared with Zhuhai, Shenzhen is more developed and fast-paced. I see Zhuhai as a place where you can relax after working hard — it's calm and less crowded. Shenzhen is definitely busier but offers more opportunities, which is why so many people from Zhuhai want to come here.
