Days earlier, Shenzhen Bay Culture Square has also signed strategic agreements with the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres of France. This deals marked a new phase in the global development strategy of Shenzhen's cultural landmarks. Through strong partnerships, Shenzhen seeks to connect Eastern and Western art resources, providing an innovative model for Chinese culture to "go global" and to introduce top global resources.

The first exhibition of the partnership with the London museum, "A Century of Chairs," will fully integrate London's curatorial expertise with Shenzhen's innovative spirit. Additionally, both parties will jointly develop public education projects in design, advancing the "modern transformation of traditional Chinese crafts" overseas through various means, and jointly create an international design exchange platform to promote the cross-regional flow of design resources.

Located in the Houhai area of Nanshan District, Shenzhen Bay Culture Square is a complex that combines design art exhibitions, design education, and public cultural life. It is designed by architectural firm MAD, led by architect Ma Yansong. The entire identification system is crafted by Original Design Research Institute headed by designer Yuan Yanzheng. The site covers approximately 51,000 square meters.

Shenzhen Bay Culture Square is equipped with nine large exhibition halls over an exhibition space of 50,000 square meters, including 330 academic lecture halls and 757 multifunctional halls, as well as an art collection repository. It also gathers global designer boutiques and design brand stores, providing citizens and visitors with a rich design art experience, allowing them to immerse themselves in the diverse expression of world culture and broaden their horizons.

The Design Museum in London was established in 1989 and is the world's first museum dedicated to design. It is renowned for its collections of contemporary design and pioneering exhibitions, covering diverse fields such as industrial design, architecture, and fashion.

As the largest decorative arts museum in Europe with over a century of history, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in France houses more than 1 million precious items, covering various fields including furniture, jewelry, and painting.
