IShowSpeed: "It is really Shenzhen, a tech city"

It came as no surprise that Shenzhen presented a tech feast with a variety of high-tech products to the visiting IShowSpeed. Yet, the six-hour whirlwind tour of the city was filled with one surprise after another. 

From enjoying a KFC meal delivered by drone at Shenzhen Talent Park, to taking a Robotaxi to view the stunning scenery of Qianhai Bay, to dancing to the rhythm of a humanoid robot, and finally, marveling at a drone show, IShowSpeed was immersed in the speed and technological charm of Shenzhen.

At OH Bay, IShowSpeed boarded an air cab to experience the burgeoning low-altitude economy, a sector rapidly becoming a new driver of the city’s economic growth. 

“Why do I always do the things sometimes? I’m gonna be the first person to drive in a flying car, oh my god, a flying car,” he exclaimed in awe.

In a hall at OH Bay, IShowSpeed danced energetically to the beat of a humanoid robot crafted by Shenzhen engineers and cheered with the enthusiastic crowd around him. “It’s really dancing,” he shouted in surprise, delighted by the robot’s precise synchronization.

Under the neon lights of the Window of the World, IShowSpeed felt a surge of joy and warmth as his car passed a billboard illuminated with the words, “IShowSpeed, welcome to Shenzhen.” During his trip, he had learned the phrase “来了就是深圳人” (Once you arrive, you’re a Shenzhener).

On the coast of Qianhai Bay, he gained insight into “Shenzhen Speed” from a U.S. man who had lived in the city for 19 years and witnessed its remarkable transformation. The American friend shared family photos and maps of Shenzhen, vividly illustrating the city’s evolution from a small fishing village to a global hub of technological innovation.

Perhaps, the charisma of Shenzhen lies not only in its cutting-edge technology but also in its inclusiveness and vitality. 

The drone show at Shenzhen Talent Park provided a perfect conclusion to IShowSpeed’s exploration of this tech hub. “It is really Shenzhen, really a tech city,” he said, expressing his genuine admiration after watching the mesmerizing drone performance.
