Also known as the “Little West Lake” of Pingshan District, Dashanbei Park is a tranquil retreat that promises an immersive natural experience. The park is designed as a “forest oxygen bar,” offering a perfect escape for those seeking peace and rejuvenation amidst nature.
The newly opened 6.8-kilometer lakeside greenway allows visitors to enjoy a leisurely walk or bike ride around the lake. A complete loop takes about two hours, providing ample time to soak in the picturesque surroundings. The greenway perfectly integrates with the nearby historic Taijie Tower, modern architectural marvels like the Pingshan Sports Center, and the serene Dashanbei Reservoir, each contributing to the beauty of the park’s landscape.
Whether you’re running, hiking, or cycling, the park offers a unique experience. The gentle slopes and lush vegetation on either side of the path provide a shaded canopy, making cycling particularly comfortable, free from the harsh sun.
