Currently, the service is only available on the airline’s domestic non-stop flights departing from Shenzhen and limited to economy class.

Passengers must be at least 18 years old and capable of accompanying and caring for their pet. Eligible pets are limited to small dogs or cats that meet the airline’s requirements. Each passenger may bring one pet into the cabin, with a maximum of two pets per flight.

The Pet in Cabin voucher can be purchased via the Shenzhen Airlines mini-program “深圳航空” for 1,399 yuan (US$190) per pet per flight. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours before departure by calling the airline’s 24-hour service hotline at 95361.

During the flight, pets must be placed under the seat in front of the passenger. Before travel, owners must prepare a pet carrier that meets specific requirements, ensure the pet is clean, and provide valid documents, including an Animal Quarantine Certificate and a Pet Vaccination Certificate.
