Business inception: Filling a cultural gap

Writer: Gabriel Scholze da Silva  |  Editor: Zhang Chanwen  |  From: Original  |  Updated: 2025-04-10

The idea for this venture came from my personal desire to experience true Brazilian culinary traditions here in China.

I realized that while Brazilians gathered for celebrations, there was a missing piece: the tradition of drinking Brazilian coffee after meals. Instead, Italian coffee dominated the scene. This realization sparked my deeper interest in the coffee industry.

Recognizing an opportunity to share the full Brazilian dining experience, I explored business models that could bring this tradition to the Chinese market.

We began by carefully sourcing coffee beans directly from Brazilian farms. I work closely with a dedicated team and numerous agents on the ground in Brazil to select the finest beans and maintain strict control over the supply chain from farm to cup.
