On April 10, Shenzhen officially inaugurated its first international communication service base for enterprises in Longgang District. This base is designed to provide comprehensive support for businesses looking to expand internationally, offering services such as product promotion, channel recommendations, communication consulting, and more.

The day also marked the launch of the Longgang International Communication Center and the Longgang International Communication Ambassador Alliance.

Connecting resources to support enterprises going abroad

In a demonstration of its commitment to international outreach, Longgang District organized two record-breaking drone performances last September, emphasizing the concept that sports transcends borders.

The videos of these performances went viral, capturing the attention of both international and domestic media and social platforms, including Elon Musk, who described the event as "Impressive" in a repost.

As of March 2025, the video shared by Musk had garnered over 35 million views—a notable achievement in leveraging cultural events for international visibility.

To better address the external publicity needs of local enterprises, the publicity department of Longgang District Committee of the CPC has been conducting research in various parks and businesses since November 2024.

As part of this initiative, they launched a series of thematic promotions titled "Supporting Enterprises Going Abroad" on official international accounts across popular platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

Creating a "Convenience Store" for international communication services for enterprises going abroad

The Longgang District has launched an International Communication Service Base to assist enterprises in their international ventures. This innovative initiative aims to provide a range of services including international communication consulting, brand development, promotional activities, information gathering, and personnel training.

The goal is to support businesses in brand promotion, market expansion, and information acquisition.

The service base will collaborate with key international communication resources such as People’s Daily, GDtoday, and Shenzhen Media Group.

These partnerships will enable the base to offer comprehensive services encompassing product promotion, channel recommendations, and communication consulting, essentially creating a "convenience store" for international communication services that facilitates the transition from "product export" to "brand export."

In recent years, Longgang District has made significant strides in enhancing its international communication capabilities.

The district has formed two key teams: the International Communication Ambassador Alliance, which includes experts, entrepreneurs, overseas influencers, and international friends; and an international communication matrix composed of Longgang's official overseas accounts along with local enterprises, universities, and associations.

Additionally, Longgang has established three major platforms to bolster its international communication efforts: the international communication service base, an international communication center, and several key international communication units operating within high internationalization parks and districts.

The district also actively manages four social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. These platforms are utilized to develop targeted campaigns that present a multi-faceted international urban image of "Interesting Longgang," further promoting the district's appeal to a global audience.
