Intl. medical experts impressed by Guangming District

More than 50 international medical professionals from over 10 countries, including Italy, Egypt, Namibia, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, India, Sri Lanka, Fiji, and Russia, embarked on a captivating tour of Guangming District on Saturday.

Organized by the Guangming District Foreign Affairs Bureau and Comen Medical, the visit aimed to showcase the area’s advancements and offerings in urban planning, technology, and healthcare.

Their first stop was the Guangming District Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Designed to provide visitors with a comprehensive overview of the district’s strategic background, technological achievements, and urban planning, the hall not only illustrates Guangming's historical evolution but also emphasizes its spirit of innovation and progress.

Egyptian Mohamed Mohsen Ali Mohamed, commercial director of BMC Biomedical Company, spoke about the tour, saying, “It was a fantastic experience. I was excited to learn about the history of Guangming District. I found a wealth of information not just about medical industries but also about various sectors and innovations. This is my third time here. Every time I visit Shenzhen, I feel excited and happy.”

Hesham Roshdi Moustafa Elsallab, managing director of Elsallab Hospitals Group,also from Egypt, was visiting China for the first time. Commenting on the exhibition, he shared, “The exhibition was very informative. It helped me understand how the district was built and the creative ideas behind it. The design is very functional, effectively combining innovation and green spaces around it.”

The delegation next visited Guangming International Automobile City, a comprehensive commercial park that aims to become the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's premier center for high-end automotive experiences. The experts were excited to explore China's most advanced electric vehicles during this visit.

Dr. Sharma Surinder Mohan, from India, noted the seamless integration of modern infrastructure with environmental sustainability. He stated, “Driving through the city, I noticed how buildings were interspersed with parks and greenery, providing insight into the future where human intelligence will merge with artificial intelligence. This kind of innovation encourages productivity and creates a conducive environment for development.”

The final destination was Guangming District People’s Hospital, where the experts learned about cutting-edge neonatal medical equipment and significant advancements made in healthcare technologies.

This tour reinforced the global impact of Comen Medical, which serves over 50,000 medical institutions across 130 countries.
