A new book lounge, the An & Song Art Book Bar, has opened at Bijia Hill Park, offering visitors a serene retreat into a haven of literature and nature.

Located near the east entrance and close to the Bijia Hill Park Exhibition Hall, this unique book bar is housed in a distinctive, cylindrical glass building. It features both indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor area features a tranquil setting with a charming small bridge and flowing water, creating a calm, leisurely atmosphere. Inside, the space is enveloped by floor-to-ceiling windows that allow visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of the surrounding nature while enjoying a good read.

The interior design reflects a minimalist aesthetic with elements of wabi-sabi — simplicity and the beauty of imperfection. A towering wooden bookshelf runs along one wall, resembling a forest, with shelves that seem to grow out of the floor. As visitors read, they are surrounded by greenery, with views of the vibrant summer foliage just outside the windows.

In addition to books, the An & Song Art Book Bar offers a selection of creative cultural products for sale. It also has a café serving coffee, fruit and vegetable juices, baked goods, and light meals, providing a complete experience for visitors looking to refresh themselves while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

The book bar is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended hours on weekends (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
