Despite settling into a comfortable life, I never stopped innovating. After my initial contract ended, I chose to stay in Shenzhen to pursue my vision of increasing automation in homes and businesses. Shenzhen provides everything I need and many of my ideas could only be realized here.
Drawing on my experience in the personal computer industry, I envisioned a user-friendly way to connect computers with the real world to empower individuals, including young children, to operate robotics.
That vision helped me develop the Theremino System, which enables users to control robotic arms or machines to perform tasks like typing, drawing, or composing music. The system is a game-changer for small companies aiming to streamline operations and is used by teachers training the next generation of engineers.
