Shenzhen is set to host the EngineAI Robot Free Combat Tournament: Mecha King — the world's first combat competition featuring full-size humanoid robots — this December.
All participating robots will be life-sized, general-purpose humanoid models. In addition to the high-octane combat, a new variety show will be launched, seamlessly blending cutting-edge technology with entertainment to create viral content that captivates audiences worldwide.
The organizing committee announced that Shenzhen-based EngineAI will supply the latest humanoid robots for the competition. Additionally, the source codes for these robots will be made publicly available to all participating teams.
Competing teams will form humanoid robot combat clubs. Their robots are required to simulate human movements and execute combat actions in accordance with specified rules. Utilizing intelligent decision-making systems, the robots must respond in real-time to complex, dynamic environments.
