Located in Xinyu, the Fairy Lake Scenic Spot is a national 4A scenic area, often dubbed the “most beautiful lake scenic area in China.” Known for its hundreds of small islands and crystal-clear waters, Fairy Lake derives its name from a legendary love story about a fairy and a young man. This tale was recorded in The Anecdotes about Spirits and Immortals, a collection of mystery stories by Gan Bao during the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317–420).
Zou Jiahong, Minister of the Publicity Department of Xinyu City, emphasized that Xinyu’s landscapes are poetic, its culture warm, and its development full of opportunities. Relying on its unique cultural and tourism resources, Xinyu has developed a number of high-quality cultural and tourism projects that integrate cultural experiences with leisure and entertainment, serving as a new window to showcase the city’s unique charm.
In addition, an immersive display and experience area was set up at the event venue, featuring Xinyu’s cultural and creative products, specialty foods, and intangible cultural heritage exhibits, attracting many guests to stop and explore.
