Nanhai E-Cool

From: INSHENZHEN

Chinese name: 南海意库, Nánhǎi Yì Kù

This leafy city block of lowrise factory workshops once belonged to Sanyo, the Japanese electronics company.

These days, it’s gentrified into a zone for the creative industries, and is the sort of highly strollable, photogenic hangout where you you'll find a cafe doubling as a florist or vintage clothing store, a barber that's also a cocktail bar and somewhere selling tasteful driftwood carvings.

You could easily spend an hour or two here browsing the shops and pitching up for coffee and dessert.

Add: 6 Xinghua Lu, Shekou (蛇口兴华路6号)

Metro: Line 2/8 to Sea World, Exit B
