Reflections on future and life in Shenzhen

After nearly five years in Shenzhen, I often think about my future. Every night after work, I ask myself whether I should stay here or move somewhere else. This decision weighs on me daily, but I hope to finalize it before the year ends.
As a dance teacher, I understand my working window is limited. Youth brings energy and opportunity, and especially in Shenzhen, young talent is highly sought after. I want to make the most of this prime time to build a better future, or else it might become too late.
Overall, I’m 100% satisfied with my life here — no stress, just relaxation. My boss trusts me completely and gives me full responsibility over the training center. I’m free to work as I see fit, and I feel respected by everyone: parents, students, and my boss alike.
I am grateful for the opportunities Shenzhen has given me. People in this city respect both my talent and skills. This respect, combined with the safe and peaceful living environment, makes Shenzhen a place I’m proud to call home.
