Guangming Litchi Festival lights up Hongqiao 1958

The Third Guangming Litchi Festival kicked off at Hongqiao 1958 Cultural and Creative Park on Friday and is presenting a wide array of exciting and entertaining activities to visitors.

As dusk settles, over a dozen light installations simultaneously illuminate the entire Hongqiao 1958 Cultural and Creative Park, transforming the night sky into a dazzling spectacle of light. This immersive display of light and shadow art slowly unfolds, captivating the audience.

The mysterious fire-themed group dance, a recognized intangible cultural heritage, then takes center stage, instantly electrifying the atmosphere. Agile dancers wield fiery blades and spears that seem to come to life as dragons of flame, with sparks flying like meteors streaking across the dark sky.

Nezha-themed garden parade

Don’t miss the Nezha-themed parade! Leading an army of shrimp soldiers and crab generals, Nezha performs magic tricks and surprises, engaging closely with visitors for photos and games. Bring your family for a wonderful time.

Traditional water mist gate performance

On a floating stage, a graceful dancer moves within a spinning water mist gate, creating an enchanting ambiance that transports you back in time.

Bonfire & rainbow rabbit light and shadow party

The warm glow of the bonfire mingles with colorful lights as rainbow rabbits dart through shadows, blending reality and fantasy in this unique light-and-shadow bonfire experience.

‘China-chic NPC interactive fun’ series

During the festival, NPCs dressed in traditional Hanfu attire parade around the park. Interact with them to unlock fun gifts and enjoy various benefits!

Traditional games including pitch-pot, shuttlecock kicking, and darts are also available — all free to play!
