A city where business thrives

After living in Shenzhen for over 10 years, I truly admire how its economy flourishes, partly due to the efficient business registration process and business-friendly local policies.

While I wasn’t directly involved in registering my company Kali Audio here, friends who are entrepreneurs shared their experiences.

Unlike the old, complicated multi-agency system, now a single government department handles all requirements. Paperwork is streamlined, and missing documents can often be submitted online, cutting down on frustrating back-and-forth visits.

Coming from California, I find this remarkable. A friend of mine took months trying to register a business in Los Angeles but continually got stuck with changing requirements, ultimately failing to obtain a license. Shenzhen’s system is completely different — fast, transparent, and practical.
