Two renowned cultural IPs — “Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience” and the China Oriental Performing Arts Group — signed cooperation agreements with Longhua District during the 21st China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), held from May 22 to 26.

Following successful runs in the U.K., the U.S., Belgium, Australia, Singapore, and other countries, the immersive night walk experience “Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience” will launch its inaugural China tour this year in Longhua District, Shenzhen. Presented by Warner Bros. Studios and Fever, the program features an illuminated woodland trail filled with magical creatures and wizarding wonders from the “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” films. To date, it has attracted over 2 million visitors worldwide.

The Longhua District Government is joining forces with the China Oriental Performing Arts Group to explore innovative cultural development within the context of a culturally diverse megacity. Their collaboration aims to promote the integration of technology with local cultural and tourism industries.
