Shopping malls and centers in SZ

I gathered photos I’ve taken over the years of various malls and shopping centers around Shenzhen.

If you’re new to the city, you’ll probably be amazed by the sheer number of places to shop— both indoors and outdoors. And if you’ve lived here for a while, shopping malls might feel as common as a neighborhood coffee shop! Supermarkets and food stalls are also never far, no matter where you live.

These shopping areas are great spots to capture everyday life in Shenzhen. Whether it’s families enjoying hot pot, couples browsing for a new wardrobe, or old friends catching up over coffee, these spaces hold a strong sense of community.

Personally, I also admire the design of these spaces and how they adapt to the needs of the local neighborhoods. Through my photos, I try to tell these stories and show how these places reflect the rhythm of life in Shenzhen.
