Mandarin Oriental, Macao commemorated its 15th anniversary with a grand cocktail reception attended by over 250 guests, dignitaries, and VIPs on Saturday (June 28).

The event began with a captivating welcome by performers carrying giant fans — a visual homage to Mandarin Oriental’s iconic logo. Guests also witnessed a live art installation spanning three canvases, created by local female artist Tsang Tseng Tseng. Tsang’s performance was closely linked to the hotel’s ongoing contemporary Chinese art exhibition, “Modern Vision, Timeless Technique,” featuring works by Tsang and fellow Macao artist Leong Kit Man. The exhibition remains open until Aug. 31.

In his welcome speech, General Manager Franck Droin praised the dedication of the hotel’s team: “Their commitment to continuous improvement and making a difference every day is truly inspiring. Together, we have built a vibrant offering, and I look forward to continuing to innovate and grow.”

Highlights of the celebration included the screening of commemorative anniversary videos and a series of live performances. The evening concluded with two dance performances that beautifully blended traditional Chinese and contemporary styles, embodying the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s signature fusion of Asian heritage with modern sophistication.

To mark this milestone, Mandarin Oriental, Macao has launched a special “Discover Macao” package, available until Dec. 31. This exclusive offer includes:

- One night accommodation in a suite, complete with a welcome bottle of champagne or sparkling tea and a selection of healthy snacks

- In-room breakfast for two

- A shopping voucher per stay

- Unlimited spa treatments for two in a private suite at The Spa, with afternoon tea served after treatments

- Personalized butler service

- A four-hour guided exploration of Macao, featuring car transfers and a photographer, visiting Macao Tower Observation Deck, the Ruins of St. Paul’s, Old Taipa Village, and Lord Stow’s Bakery in Coloane
