A total of 6,121 full-time graduates at Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology (SZIIT) successfully completed their studies, with 95.76% either securing employment or continuing their education, according to figures announced during the school’s 2025 commencement ceremony held June 28.
Among the graduates, 1,264 have been admitted to undergraduate institutions for further studies.
Among the employed graduates, 80% chose to develop their careers in Shenzhen, with 918 graduates joining leading Shenzhen-based companies such as Huawei, BYD, Shenzhen Metro, and Shenzhen Inovance Technology.

Academic achievements of the graduates were equally impressive. Ninety-eight graduates earned high-level certificates such as the Huawei Certified ICT Expert (HCIE), Huawei's highest level of ICT technical certification, which is awarded to people who demonstrate especially strong expertise in ICT and rich experience in practice.
Students also won a total of 107 awards in provincial or higher-level skills competitions, including 12 national-level awards (with 2 gold and 2 silver awards). Thirty-one students received national scholarships, 1,769 students received certification scholarships, and 26 students were honored with the 8th “SZIIT Person of the Year” awards or nominations.
At the graduation ceremony, two groups of graduates received special attention: the inaugural group of 14 graduates from the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Joint Training Program and the first batch of 19 international graduates from Pakistan.
A showcase of educational cooperation under the Belt and Road initiative, SZIIT has since 2022 collaborated with Pakistan’s Alama Iqbal Provincial Institute of Technology in Lahore under the “CCTE” model. CCTE, short for “Chinese language courses+ Chinese commercial cultural courses, technical education subjects + technology in education and further education+ employment," is a dual degree China-Pakistan vocational education cooperation program.

Students participating in the CCTE program will learn in Pakistan for the first two years and in China for the third year before obtaining degrees from both sides.
This program celebrated its first 19 graduates this June, and currently has 71 students enrolled. In 2024, SZIIT was awarded the "Outstanding Contribution to China-Pakistan Educational Cooperation" by the Pakistani Embassy in China for this program, highlighting the school’s role in international vocational education cooperation and marking a significant achievement in SZIIT’s internationalization efforts.
In the field of Shenzhen-Hong Kong educational integration, SZIIT and the Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education (LiPACE) of Hong Kong Metropolitan University have jointly implemented a “1+1.5+0.5” three-stage training model (1 year of full-time study at SZIIT, 1.5 years of full-time study at LiPACE, and 0.5 year of internship at a Shenzhen firm).
The first 14 students majoring in business English in this joint program received both an advanced diploma from Hong Kong Metropolitan University and a graduation certificate from SZIIT.
