This year, the water-splashing square has been upgraded with new features that showcase the beautiful scenery of the Dai ethnic group in Xishuangbanna, along with upgraded water play projects and equipment.

At 3 p.m. daily, parade floats adorned in magnificent costumes will lead guests to join the Dai ethnic water-splashing carnival. Additionally, a variety of Yunnan snacks and refreshing drinks will be available to delight visitors’ taste buds. After nightfall, the newly introduced fire dance carnival parade will light up the area, offering a spectacular fusion of water and fire for an unforgettable visual experience.

Children and adult local residents can buy summer holiday passes for unlimited entry at 119 yuan (US$16.6) and 229 yuan, respectively, valid from the date of purchase through Aug. 31.
