From now until the end of August, the “Little Train Conductors” study program, jointly launched by Pullman Shenzhen North and Shenzhen Metro Group, is being held every weekend. Young participants have the unique opportunity to explore the heart of the Metro system through immersive learning and hands-on experiences, embarking on an exciting educational journey into the mysteries of urban rail transit.

The program features four carefully designed experience sessions. The first stop is the NOCC Dispatch Center, known as the “brain of the Metro.” Here, massive dispatch screens display real-time train operations across the entire network. Experts provide easy-to-understand explanations of metro dispatching, command, and emergency response, enabling children to grasp how such a vast rail system runs efficiently.

Next, the children visit the Metrotrain maintenance base, where they observe skilled technicians performing routine upkeep and comprehensive “health checks” on the trains. Engineers explain the functions of key train components and the vital importance of safety maintenance, revealing the “secrets” behind safe Metro operation.

The highlight of the program is the Metro simulator driving cabin experience. Guided by professionals, participants become “little train conductors,” operating highly realistic driving equipment. They learn how to start trains, control speed, open and close doors, and align precisely with station stops — immersing themselves in the thrill and challenge of Metro driving.

The journey concludes with a delicious meal at the 46th-floor sky-high buffet of the Pullman Shenzhen North. While overlooking the city skyline, children excitedly share their fascinating experiences from the day.

This is an exceptional opportunity for young explorers aged 5 to 13 to broaden their horizons and ignite career interests. Enter the Metro’s “nerve center,” try your hand at driving a simulated train, and dine above the clouds — this magical blend of knowledge, fun, and growth awaits! Spaces are limited, so reserve your child’s spot now!
