A pilot project under the "Rail Transit + Robot Delivery" initiative jointly operated by Shenzhen Metro Group and Vanke, the robot delivery aims to achieve last-mile delivery for retail stores within the Metro system. A 7-Eleven store staffer only needs to place an order via an app. After the goods are loaded, the robot can plan the best route and deliver the items to the designated store — showcasing cutting-edge technology and a futuristic vibe.

Robots take the Metro to deliver goods during off-peak hours.

With the expansion of Shenzhen’s metro network, demand for local lifestyle services like "subway + retail" has also grown greatly. 7-Eleven has opened over 100 stores at Metro stations, serving around 9 million daily commuters with everything from breakfasts to late-night snacks, daily necessities and emergency travel supplies. This not only meets the essential needs of commuters, but also enhances the integration of Metro and urban services.
