MO Bar makes Asia's 50 Best Bars 2025 list

Perched on the 79th floor of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, the captivating MO Bar has achieved a groundbreaking milestone by being ranked No. 21 on the prestigious Asia's 50 Best Bars 2025 list.

This remarkable accomplishment marks three historic firsts: MO Bar is the first hotel bar from the Chinese Mainland to be listed; it’s the first Mandarin Oriental hotel bar in the Chinese Mainland to receive this honor; and it’s the first time a bar in Shenzhen has been represented in the ranking.

Since opening in early 2022, MO Bar has redefined modern mixology through innovative cocktail programmes that reflect Chinese heritage, from the Movable Type cocktails inspired by ancient printing techniques to the current Colors of China cocktails celebrating traditional pigments. The award-winning team has also brought an exciting global cocktail culture to Shenzhen by featuring guest bartenders from Asia's and The World's 50 Best Bars.

The collection features 16 meticulously crafted cocktails and non-alcoholic creations, each representing a different solar term from China's ancient agricultural calendar, which chronicles nature's seasonal transitions.
