The Bao' an “Worry-Free Space,” a flagship initiative supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, has recently entered a new phase of expansion, adding six premier industrial parks to its ecosystem.

The newly included hubs — Gaoxinqi Strategic Emerging Industrial Park (Xin' an Subdistrict), Geek Maker (Xixiang Subdistrict), Guangxingyuan Internet Creative Park (Xixiang Subdistrict), Taihua Wutong Island (Hangcheng Subdistrict), Coastal Group Sci-tech Innovation Center (Xinqiao Subdistrict), and Bao’an Runhui Technology Park (Yanluo Subdistrict) — will provide additional office space and flexible workstations for cutting-edge projects in areas such as artificial intelligence, smart robotics, and dexterous robotic hands.

The expansion further strengthens the program’s “rent-free + services” model, accelerating the development of a comprehensive innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Bao' an officially unveiled its first batch of “Worry-Free Spaces” in early March, providing approximately 16,800 square meters of rent-free working area across 13 incubation centers. Since its inception, the program has attracted high-level innovation teams, with core members hailing from top global institutions such as Tsinghua University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), and Cornell University.

The initiative aims to offer support to more than 20 key industry clusters, especially frontiers like artificial intelligence, intelligent robotics, and dexterous robotic hands. Startups moving into these spaces can enjoy rent-free periods ranging from three to 12 months, alongside access to comprehensive support services including policy counseling and product promotion.

Currently, the “Worry-Free Space” has brought together 19 tech parks, offering a total of 21,500 square meters of office space.
