This addition brings the total number of the district’s overseas enterprise service points to 11, following earlier ones established in Denmark and Australia.
The designation was announced during a recent business matchmaking session jointly hosted by the Longhua District authorities and JBCCI at the Longhua International Cooperation Center (LICC).
The event attracted over 150 Chinese and Malaysian enterprises, resulting in signed agreements with a total investment of 868 million yuan (US$119 million). The projects cover diverse sectors including high-end manufacturing, healthcare technology, home design, and more
Among these projects, Shenzhen JT Automation Equipment Co. Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with its Malaysian counterpart involving a total investment of 718 million yuan. Meanwhile, Hunan Yuance Medical Technology Co. Ltd. entered into a cooperation agreement with Malaysian enterprises valued at 107.67 million yuan.
The newly established overseas service point will leverage JBCCI’s local resources and network to support Chinese enterprises expanding into Johor State and the broader Malaysian market, providing services such as legal consultation, business matchmaking, and risk management.
In addition to establishing service points in around 10 countries, the district also supports enterprises in their overseas expansion through a service list that addresses common needs in supply chain operations, financial services, and compliance management.
As one of the event hosts, LICC has organized over 300 business matchmaking events to date, welcoming delegations from 110 countries and regions. The center also features an exhibition hall showcasing products and success stories of local brands expanding overseas, offering visitors a glimpse into the district’s global outreach efforts.
