To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, which falls on Aug. 26, EyeShenzhen is inviting expat residents in Shenzhen to a special journey to explore the city's incredible transformation through fascinating exhibitions!

• Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning
• China Merchants History Museum in Shekou, the cradle of China's reform and opening-up

Step into the story of Shenzhen's rise — from a fishing village to a global tech hub! Experience immersive exhibitions, discover how reform and opening-up shaped the city, and share your perspective with the world.
Date: Aug. 16 (Saturday)
Time: 9:50 a.m. –3:30 p.m.
Meet-up: Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning
(1 minute walk from Exit A2 of Children's Palace Station of Metro Line 3 or 4)
What we'll do:
• 9:50 a.m.: Meet at the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning
• 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.: Guided tour of reform and urban planning-themed exhibitions.
• 12:00–1:45 p.m.: Take a coach to China Merchants History Museum + lunch break (Time to rest and create content)
• 2:00–3:00 p.m.: Visit China Merchants History Museum and learn about China's reform and opening-up
•3:00–3:30 p.m.: Sharing Session — interviews and get ready to post with #ShenzhenGreatChanges!
Requirement: The participants should have video editing skills and are obliged to share their video about the visit at their own personal overseas accounts and provide videos to the event organizer.
