

Temporary traffic control on select roads for drone lightshows marking Shenzhen SEZ's 45th anniversary

Motorists are reminded to use detours Tuesday evening when Shenzhen's traffic police authority imposes temporary traffic controls to accommodate drone lightshows planned in Futian and Nanshan districts to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone.

The time and section-based temporary traffic restrictions will be implemented on the following road sections to ensure public safety and the smooth operation of the performances. Vehicles will be prohibited from passing through the listed stretches during the closures.
Futian District
From 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: Fuzhong Road 3 between Jintian and Yitian roads.
From 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: Fuhua Road 1 between Jintian and Yitian roads
From 7:50 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: Shennan Boulevard between Huanggang and Xinzhou roads; Jintian Road between Fuzhong Road and Fuhua Road 1; Yitian Road between Fuzhong Road and Fuhua Road 1; Fuzhong Road between Jintian and Yitian roads; Zhongxin Road 3 between Fuhua Road and Fuhua Road 1; Zhongxin Road 4 between Fuhua Road and Fuhua Road 1; Zhongxin Road 5 between Fuhua Road 1 and Fuhua Road.
Nanshan District
From 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: Keyuan Road South northbound between Dongbin Road and Haide Road 3;
From 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: Shehe West Road between Binhai-Shahe West interchange and Dongbin Shahe West interchange; Binhai-Shahe West Flyover west-to-south ramp; Dongbin-Shahe West Flyover west-to-north ramp; Dongbin Tunnel to Shahe West Road northbound ramp; Jinwan East Road 1 turning to Shahe West Road northbound;
From 6 p.m.: Keyuan Road South southbound between Haide Road 3 and Dongbin Road will be subject to temporary control depending on traffic conditions.
The traffic police authority urge drivers to watch for temporary signage and lane markings, follow directions from on-site traffic police officers, and use alternate routes to avoid delays.
