Mission Hills Group, the world’s largest golf and leisure resort operator, and Summit Green Valley Chiang Mai, a premier championship and lifestyle golf destination in northern Thailand, signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shenzhen yesterday to create a combined golf and travel offering for members of both clubs. The signing ceremony, held at Mission Hills Shenzhen in the presence of representatives from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), aims to deepen China–Thailand golf tourism links through shared privileges, cobranded tournaments and curated travel packages.

“Chiang Mai offers year-round golf in cool temperatures, framed by mountains, temples and worldclass hospitality,” said Seksun Ngawsuwan of the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand. “This partnership accelerates our ‘Amazing Thailand’ campaign by combining Mission Hills’ championship expertise with Summit Green Valley’s breathtaking setting and cultural richness.”
Under the agreement, members of Mission Hills Shenzhen and Summit Green Valley will receive reciprocal teetime access and preferred green-fee rates at each other’s championship courses. Both venues will grant priority invitations to jointly organized tournaments. The partners also plan tailored golftravel itineraries that pair Mission Hills’ luxury accommodation and resort amenities with Chiang Mai attractions such as the UNESCOlisted Old City, night safaris and wellness retreats.
