Today marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti‑Fascist War. Commemorative events worldwide are demonstrating China’s resolve and ability to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and development interests, and to uphold world peace.
