The oldest park in Shenzhen is also one of the best for strolling, thanks to its recessed, bowl-like landscaping which serves to completely shut out the surrounding noise. The flowerbeds are beautifully tended, and if you’re lucky you might come across remnants of the Ming dynasty earthwork walls that once surrounded the adjacent Nantou Ancient City.
