A humanoid robot band, created by CCTV in collaboration with Shenzhen-based robotics company Astribot, joins the Flying Rainbow Ethnic Children’s Choir — a charity project of the Shenzhen Songhe Growth Care Foundation — and a pipa soloist to perform the classic folk song “Jasmine Flower” for travelers at the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport on Sunday. The performance marked the airport’s debut of a humanoid robot band and is the first of its kind in China.
