Following a major holiday promotion, Nanshan District continues to offer more than 50 million yuan (US$7 million) in consumer vouchers through various online and retail platforms.

The vouchers, first issued during the recent National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday period, are available on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted. Residents can access the vouchers through the “Nanshan Tong” mini-program, the JD.com App, and the Rainbow Department Store App.

The campaign is designed to stimulate consumer spending across several sectors, including automotive, general retail, and home appliances.

A significant portion of the funds, 30 million yuan, is dedicated to the district’s auto subsidy program. This initiative provides subsidies for purchases of new vehicles from over 70 participating car brands, including Li Auto, Tesla, and AITO. The subsidies, which began on Sept. 30, are tiered based on the vehicle's purchase price. To qualify, individual consumers must buy a car from a participating, government-registered dealership in Nanshan and complete registration with the local public security traffic police bureau.

In partnership with JD.com, the Nanshan District Commerce Bureau launched a separate “Shop Nanshan, Enjoy Life” campaign. Starting Sept. 30, users can search “Nanshan consumption voucher” on the JD.com App to access a dedicated page for 20 million yuan in general retail subsidies.

The new JD MALL in Nanshan, a 30,000-square-meter retail store featuring over 200,000 products from brands like Huawei, Apple, and DJI, is offering an additional 5 million yuan through a “Super Upgrade Replacement” promotion. The promotion provides instant discounts on eligible items purchased in-store.

Similarly, Rainbow Department Store is running its “Fantastic Nanshan, Enjoy Life” event, distributing limited-quantity vouchers through its app and mini-program. These include a 50-yuan-off voucher for department store purchases over 398 yuan and a 40-yuan-off voucher for supermarket purchases over 198 yuan, valid both online and in physical stores.

The district’s “Nanshan Good House Festival” also held a holiday event at the Nanshan Museum. JD MALL is supporting the real estate-focused festival with 2,000 special allotments for large appliance and furniture discounts. From Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, buyers of specified appliances can receive 1,000 yuan off purchases exceeding 20,000 yuan, with additional home furnishing subsidies of 15% to 20%, including up to 32,000 yuan for smart home products.
